My sister has been working on our family tree for the past three years. Luckily for her, she has passed on information and hard copies of any documents and pictures to the family as she obtained them. Last night, her computer was hit during an electrical storm and it is dead. My mom was putting all of the information on her hard drive as she plans on making a book when my sister is done. Not only had mom put it on her hard drive, she also used carbonite online backup. This morning she gave my sister everything she needed to access the files on carbonite. My sister will be using this service from now on. She flipped out when she thought she had lost everything and want so know she is covered if something like this happens again.
