My stepson was in training to become an electrician when he lost his job. His boss had a massive heart attack and decided to close down the business rather than go back to work. He was four months away from retirement when this occurred so we can’t blame him for making that decision. His health is more important than anything. My stepson can’t find another job with an electrician so now he is looking into electrical maintenance training. This will allow him to remain in the same field; he’ll just be pursing a different job within the field. It’s a smart move as he can decide to train as an electrician again if the opportunity arises and having this schooling makes him more marketable.
