Although I have always considered myself independent and bright, I am humble enough to know that I need other people.  Of course, I learned this the hard way.  As soon as I graduated from college I opened my own business and struggled with it alone for a few years.  Every problem seemed like a mountain to climb.  Then a friend told me about a women’s group online and I joined.  Right away I was getting good ideas and support.  The problems didn’t go away but everything was easier.  Now I have a global network of friends I can call on to help me think things through and it feels great.
