I got the whole family working. Ben used the PC in the living room, Sara was working on the laptop and Steve was making calls with the phone in the kitchen. We got tons of cheap auto insurance quotes within just an hour or so. Then we made a big pile and started digging through all the quotes. I had made some pizza while the others were collecting quotes and in combination with some icecream this was definitely one of the family events I did highly enjoy. We ended up with two insurance companies which I will contact tomorrow. To put it in a nutshell: it was a very efficient and fun day.

My wife and I have an older vehicle, and each year it seems like it has more problems than it did the year before. Buying another car just isn’t in our budget at this time, and we knew that we needed a way to protect ourselves when we were out driving. I looked online for some quotes on breakdown cover, and I was very happy to see that it was affordable and quite comprehensive. I purchased it for our van, and now we have some reassurance when we are out and about. Now we can take our road trips and know that we are in good hands.

I have tried to get my family to cut back on their energy usage, but there is only so much we can do in that regard. Now I am hoping to start using a more renewable energy source, and having grid tie inverters to hook up to the power grid so we can combine the energy we produce with the energy from the power company in order to get enough for our purposes. Maybe eventually we will produce extra energy.
