If I would have known what I do know today I most likely would have gotten car insurance a lot earlier. Not so much because it would be cheaper – wchich it wouldn’t be – but because then I would have had car insurance during my first big crash I would have had enough money to get a replacement car and I wouldn’t have lost my job.

There are a lot of “I would have” in those last sentences and I’m not about to mourn about the past. Hence I will only point out that I’m going to get free car insurance quotes online and I will get a lot of them to make sure I will have a great palette to choose from.

My sister is in the military but her husband works in the private sector.  When they went to buy a car her husband thought that because of his job and credit history they would get a great rate.  He was very surprised to find out that a military car loan based on his wife’s service would get them a better rate and lower payments on the car that they wanted.  They told me that their payments were so much lower than what they expected that they actually went in splurge to a little bit on a fancy dinner out with a babysitter to watch the kids.

When I got home from the store the other day, my wife told me that she had some bad news.  I asked her what was going on, and she told me that her youngest brother had just had his car stolen, and he didn’t know what to do.  I asked her if the insurance was going to cover it, and she said that he didn’t have insurance on it.  I told him that he would have to get a Car Loan and get him self a new car.  We just couldn’t afford to give him any more money.  He needed to get out on his own.

When advertising on television every one who’s watching sees the advertisement.  They don’t have to have good credit or even have a job, but they might want to buy a car. So what do they do, they run down to the car dealership and waste my time. As a salesperson I only get paid when I sell a car.
