It was the last time I was going to make the mistake of not protecting my company name.  I had used a name for my small restaurant for many years.  I was in the middle of a major renovation when I got a letter advising me that the name I had been using for years had recently been approved for a trademark.  It seemed as though I would have to change the name of my restaurant and my signature dish.  I started looking for information on the legal recourse I might be able to take to recover these trademarks.  I was happy to have the assistance of the resources from this site.
